Game Rules- Each round of Moonstone will be a 1 v 1 game using 7 Moonstones and 5 models per
player.- Each player may bring a roster of up to 8 models to be used during the tournament and may
select from these 8 at the start of each round, selecting 5 out of the 8. The entire roster must
be aligned to a single valid faction.- Each model must use their most up to date character card, as published on the official
moonstone website.- A game will last 4 turns following the normal rules in the Moonstone rule book. - The sudden death rule will be used.- There will be 5 minutes before the start of each game for players to deploy Moonstones,
select roster and deploy models onto the table.- If both players have used a mulligan to re-drop Moonstones and still cannot agree, then the
TO can be called over to do a final drop of the 5 Moonstones.- There will be no use of event and agenda cards.- Each players roster must conform to the usual faction alignment rules as found in the
Moonstone rulebook.- If the end of the round is called and the game is ongoing, then the current action will be
allowed to be fully resolved and then the game will complete with the result being declared
on moonstone possession.- It is up to the players to play at a reasonable pace, but if required the TO may be called over
to address a perceived slow play issue.
Round Structure - Round 1 will be a random allocation of matchups.- The event will be run via Longshanks.- Players must also record the number of moonstones in possession as the higher amount of
Moonstones gained will be used to rank players where they are on the same number of
VP’s.- The Event Organiser (EO) will attempt to ensure that players do not play the same opponent
more than once where possible.
