40k Slow Grow January 2022

Last year we ran Slow Grow Leagues for Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 and they were a huge success.

Loads of people went from not having an army and not knowing the rules to being able to comfortably play full 2000 point games. And as a bonus some people now have their first ever fully painted army! You can check some of them out at the end of this article.

So we're starting again in January.

If 2022 is the year that you've decided to get back into/ start Warhammer then this could be for you.

We'll start the league at 500 points then add in an additional 500 points each month until we hit 2000 points. 

Round 1 is a free for all where you just play as many different people as you can so you get to meet new gamers and get your head around the rules. We'll count your best 2 results of the round to your overall score.

Then from round 2 you'll be paired against another player at a similar points level to you.

There will also be a free 2000 point tournament held at the end of the league for everyone who's finished the league. It's a great way to get your first taste of tournament play amongst the friends you've made in the league.

The aim (goverment restrictions permitting) is to start the leagues the week commencing 17th of January.
